Cone management is an important aspect of a Motorcycle Training program. Without a tool, managing cones is inefficient and physically demanding. I like many coaches before me, modified existing tools available on the market including selfie sticks, magnetic pick-up tools, and wood dowels, but there was no perfect solution. A more robust tool was needed so I set upon a journey to develop one. My goal was to develop a strong and collapsible tool that can be used and transported easily to make cone management more efficient. I think I have succeeded by creating the Cone Collector.
The Cone Collector was designed to accommodate the two sizes of training. The cones include a smaller 4” cone with a 7/8” hole in the top of the cone, and a larger 5” cone with a 3/4” hole in the top. The maximum diameter of the Cone Collector tool is 3/4” allowing both cone types to easily slide off the cone collector tool from the handle area of the tool. Make sure that the cones you are using at your training sites have a hole no smaller than 3/4” to ensure the Cone Collector tool will work with them
